Organic Green Cardamom has a warm, eucalyptus-like flavor, with lemon undertones. Use in curries, rice dishes, daal, desserts, and sweet drinks like lassis. Pairs well with cinnamon and cloves.
No anti-caking agents added. Lumps may form, which is natural and normal.
Species: Elettaria cardamomum
Other names: Green cardamom
Appearance: The organic cardamom pods are lightly green and contain small, round, sticky, black seeds.
Typically used: Organic cardamom pods can be used whole or split. When split, the inside seeds can be used whole or ground.
Origin: Green Cardamom is one of the worldās oldest and most valuable spices after vanilla and saffron. Originating in southern India, it now also grows in Sri Lanka, Guatemala, and Indo China.
Flavor: Cardamom has a warm, eucalyptus-like flavor, with lemon undertones.
Aroma: Warm, slightly sweet, and comforting
Culinary uses: Organic Green Cardamom is used in curries, rice dishes, and pulse dishes. It is also used in desserts and sweet drinks, like lassis. The unique spice is often paired with cinnamon and cloves, and lends a distinct flavor to chai.

If you receive the order and you are not satisfied with it, you can return the merchandise in original packaging within 14 days along with the receipt. Once we receive your package, we will refund the amount charged of the items returned. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the shipping costs, unless the product is damaged or defective.

If you refuse the order or if the carrier was not able to deliver it, we will give full refund less the shipping charges.
INCORRECT ADDRESS
If the shipping address that you supply is found to be incomplete or incorrect then you are responsible for the additional charges imposed by the shipping company for correcting the address.
RETURNED TO SENDER / UNDELIVERABLE
If we send you a shipment and it gets returned back to us as it was undeliverable to the address provided, we will refund the amount you had paid for the products only. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the shipping cost. We offer the option to reship the same order to an alternative address for an additional shipping fee.

Exceptionally fragrant and sweet, with that unmistakable fresh elaichi aroma. It blends seamlessly into both desserts and chai, adding a delicate warmth without overpowering. You can really taste the quality here. I would love a refill option for the ground cardamom! We use it a lot.

I love cardamom!! I havenāt gotten to explore much yet, I have added it in cookies before and I make 100% ground chicory and brew it like you would coffee, then I put almond milk, cinnamon, cardamom and maple syrup! It taste super yummy! Itās my coffee alternative. I need to explore more ways to use cardamom but I am so happy to have come across Pure Indian Foods as the cardamom at my local health food store was not fresh, it wasnāt much potent as this one. Itās so potent, so flavorful! I used too much my first time not knowing how much more potent this is than store bought. The flavor is so much better! I love it so much. This is the best cardamom you will find!
