Our Organic Moringa Tablets contain low-temperature processed moringa leaf, compressed into easy-to-digest pills. The temperature is kept below 104°F at all times. This ensures that delicate nutrients are preserved during the entire process.
Moringa oleifera, often known as the “miracle tree” or “horseradish tree” is native to northwest India and was first described around 2000 BC as a medicinal herb. Moringa is also known as “Nebadaye” which in many African languages translates to “never die.” This is likely due to the fact that it is a very resilient tree that has been used by many ayurvedic practitioners for centuries for its good nutrition and health benefits. It is known to restore and cleanse, as well as promote wellness and vitality.*

Moringa in Ayurvedic Practice
Moringa has a number of important properties and qualities. In Sanskrit, these are known as Gunas:
- Guna: Light/laghu, dry/ruksha, sharp/tikshana, fluid/sara
- Post: Digestive metabolic state (vipak): pungent/katu
- Virya: Heating/ushna
- Taste(rasa): Pungent/katu, Tikta(bitter)
From an Ayurvedic viewpoint, moringa is classified as heating and pungent. It possesses a heating effect, or vitya, and a taste characterized by pungency and bitterness, with a pungent post-digestive effect, or vipaka.
Moringa also exhibits profound cleansing and detoxifying properties. In the Bhava Prakash, an ancient Ayurvedic text, moringa is referred to as sigru, meaning "moves swiftly like an arrow." This description highlights moringa's capacity to deeply cleanse by quickly permeating the body tissue layers, or dhatus. It particularly targets the blood, or rakta dhatu and fat, or meda dhatu.*
Due to its bitter and pungent qualities, moringa is beneficial for balancing kapha and vata doshas, although excessive intake may elevate vata due to its bitter taste. Its heating attributes may potentially aggravate pitta dosha.
Why Tablets Instead of Capsules?
One advantage of opting for herbal tablets instead of capsules is that tablets let you experience the taste of the herbs. According to Ayurveda, digestion starts in the mouth with the sense of taste, and since the digestive fire, or agni, is essential for health, the quality of our digestion directly impacts our overall well-being.
Tasting your herbs, even briefly, enhances the interaction between your herbs and your body, fostering a deeper connection between the two.
These Organic Moringa Tablets are our way of making this valuable Ayurvedic supplement accessible, convenient, and easy to take.
