How to Roll Ladoo
Take out the entire contents of the jar in a clean bowl.
Slowly add 30 grams of hot water (about 2 tablespoons) and mix well.
Leave it for 5-10 minutes at room temperature.
Divide this mix into 10 sections. Take one section and roll it into a ball.
If the balls crack or don't hold together well, add 1 tsp of water at a time and mix well before attempting to roll again. Some batches may need more or less water.
Optional garnish - Use our Royal Garnish Blend to coat ladoos or mix the garnish powder into the contents of the jar
Due to added water, the shelf life of these ladoos will be 2-3 days at room temperature, or up to a week in the fridge.
Organic Ladoo in a Jar™
A timeless Indian sweet—reinvented for modern life.
Ladoo is India’s most loved traditional dessert, typically shaped into round balls. At Pure Indian Foods, we’ve reimagined the traditional ladoo to honor authenticity while eliminating waste and compromise. Ladoo in a Jar™ delivers all the flavor and nourishment of a handmade ladoo in a convenient, versatile form.
Crafted the Traditional Way
Stone-ground dried moong dal creates a smooth texture without raising temperature.
Gently sautéed with organic ghee until it turns richly nutty.
Finished with mineral-rich jaggery, and fragrant cardamom.
Made in a clean, vegetarian commercial kitchen, suitable to be used in religious ceremonies and offerings.
The result is a smooth yet delightfully crunchy bite—kind of like the texture of granola with the taste of tradition.
Your Ladoo, Your Way
Why not ship pre-rolled ladoos? Because that would mean more packaging, more waste, and less product for you. Instead, we pack this treat in a glass jar, so you get the maximum amount of ladoo mix, free from fillers, preservatives, or unnecessary additives.
Roll at home, shaping into ladoos and adding your own love and intention.
Enjoy it straight from the jar as a wholesome snack.
Sprinkle it over yogurt, fruit, or desserts like granola.
Why It’s in a Glass Jar
Less packaging and environmentally conscious.
No risk of contamination from plastics or chemical-laden paper/cardboard.
Keeps ingredients pure while reducing waste.
Why It’s Not Pre-Shaped as Ladoos
We give you more product in each jar—pre-rolled ladoos would leave lots of empty space.
Pre-shaped pieces are more likely to break during shipping.
Keeping it loose avoids additives or binders and minimizes packaging waste.
We invite you to hand-roll for your family and add your personal touch.
Wholesome, Ethical, and Smart
Certified organic and gluten-free.
No artificial colors.
All handmade in small batches—first of its kind in the U.S.
Eco-conscious packaging in glass to protect your food and the planet.

Hi! I'm Sandeep.
I travel to India, Asia, South America, and Europe to bring you back some of the most pristine, pure, organic clean ingredients in the world. All the products you'll find here at Pure Indian Foods are ones that me and my family use personally.
My family has been making ghee since 1889. Today, my wife, Nalini (aka "The Ghee Lady"), carries on this tradition. She still makes all the ghee and tightens every jar by hand.
We are passionate about bringing you traditional and nourishing foods. It's our labor of love and service to human-kind. Thank you for supporting our small family business.
