Description

Garam masala is a warming spice blend from India. All of the spices are toasted before ground, and the blend has a warming effect on the body.

Culinary Uses: Garam masala is well suited for meat dishes, and is fried in ghee before any other ingredients are added. Alternatively, the spice is typically added at the end of cooking, or after serving. Garam masala is used in chicken dishes and rice dishes. The spice is delicious with autumn favorites, like baked squash.
