Country of Origin

New Zealand

Manuka honey is sourced from the nectar of the manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) which is native to New Zealand. It contains naturally occurring methylglyoxal (MGO), making it a popular choice for skin care, face masks, and other topical applications. Manuka is also rich in antioxidants and is wonderful stirred into hot tea, as well as used in cooking and baking.

Warning: Do not feed honey to infants under 2 years old.

Raw Manuka honey has a tendency to crystallize. To restore it to its natural state, it can be gently warmed in a water bath. As this is a natural product, Color may vary.

This honey is not organic, but it has been lab tested for pesticide residue.

Once upon a time, on the rugged hills of New Zealand, a small bee discovered a remarkable plant with fragrant white flowers. This plant was the Manuka tree, and the bee couldn't resist its sweet nectar. Little did the bee know, this nectar would soon become the source of a golden elixir that would capture the hearts and minds of people all over the world.

As the bees collected the nectar from the Manuka flowers, they unknowingly created a special honey with unique properties. Word of this miraculous honey spread, and soon people from all over the world were seeking out this rare delicacy.

The demand for pure Manuka honey grew, and beekeepers in New Zealand began cultivating the Manuka trees to ensure a steady supply. For centuries, the local Maori people used the  honey for its unique flavor and other properties.

As the years passed, raw Manuka honey became a symbol of New Zealand's natural beauty and rich culture. And while the small bee that discovered the Manuka tree may never have realized the impact of its discovery, its legacy lives on in every jar of this New Zealand honey enjoyed around the world.
