Cardamom-Scented Fresh Orange Sherbet

This Cardamom-Scented Orange Sherbet is creamy, cool and luscious! You'll love this orange summer treat. For a non-dairy version, full-fat coconut milk can used in place of half and half or milk. Try this great recipe sprinkled with raw cacao nibs, frozen raspberries, dried coconut flakes, or any options of choice.

Ingredients:

2 cups orange juice freshly squeezed (4-5 juicy oranges)
1 cup half and half or whole milk
3/4 cup sugar or to taste
1 Tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
1/4-1/2 tsp Organic Green Cardamom* powder or to taste

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
orange slices
Raw cacao nibs
coconut flakes
frozen raspberries
chopped dark chocolate
roasted nuts of choice

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together until completely blended.

2. Cover and refrigerate until very cold.

3. Pour into an ice cream maker; churn for 20-25 minutes, or until thick and creamy.

4. Transfer to a freezer-safe container with a lid. Cover and freeze until firm.
