1. Our Return Philosophy
At Pure Indian Foods, your satisfaction is our priority. We stand behind the quality of every product we ship. If something isn't right — whether it arrived damaged, is defective, or simply doesn't meet your expectations — we want to make it right.
As a small, family-owned business, we handle returns and refunds on a case-by-case basis, always striving for a resolution that is fair to both you and our company. We appreciate your understanding and your support of our small business.
2. Eligibility & Timeframe
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, the following general conditions apply:

3. Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect all products before they leave our warehouse. However, damage can occasionally occur during transit, or a product may have an issue that was not detected before shipping.
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or otherwise unacceptable for consumption, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
We require one of the following to process your claim:
- Photographs clearly showing the damage or defect (product and packaging), OR
- A complete return of the item using a return label we will provide.
If you have already discarded the damaged product before contacting us, the item may not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or credit.
Once we verify the damage or defect, we will, at our discretion, offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund (including any return shipping costs if a physical return is required).
4. Changed Your Mind?
If you receive your order and no longer need the item(s), you may return the merchandise under the following conditions:
- The item must be in new, unused, and unopened condition.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- You must include the receipt or proof of purchase.
- The return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
5. Order Refused
If you refuse delivery of your order, or if the carrier is unable to deliver it due to recipient unavailability or refusal, we will issue a full refund for the product amount, minus the original shipping charges.
6. Incorrect Address
It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address you provide at checkout is accurate, complete, and deliverable.
We strongly recommend double-checking your shipping address before completing checkout. If you realize there is an error after placing your order, please contact us at support@pureindianfoods.com immediately — we will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once the label has been created.
7. Returned to Sender / Undeliverable
If we ship your order and it is returned to us as undeliverable (due to an incorrect address, unclaimed package, expired hold period, or other delivery issues), you will have two options:
| Option 1 | Receive a refund for the product amount only. Unfortunately, the original shipping cost is non-refundable. |
| Option 2 | Pay an additional shipping fee to have the same order reshipped to a corrected or alternative address. |

8. Refund Processing
8.1 Once your return is received and inspected (if a physical return is required), or once we verify photographic evidence of damage/defect, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
8.2 Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement.
8.3 In some cases, at our discretion, we may offer a store credit or replacement shipment instead of a monetary refund. We will always discuss options with you before proceeding.

9. Non-Returnable Items
Due to food safety regulations and the perishable nature of our products, the following items are generally not eligible for return or refund (unless damaged or defective upon receipt):
- Opened food products — once a food product has been opened, it cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons (unless it is defective).
- Perishable items that have exceeded their shelf life or have been improperly stored after delivery.
- Gift cards — all gift card sales are final and non-refundable.
- Items discarded before contacting us — if you dispose of a damaged product without first contacting us and providing photographs, we may be unable to process your claim.

10. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, refund, or exchange, please follow these steps:

| 2 | If the item is damaged or defective, include clear photographs showing the damage (product and packaging). Do NOT discard the product. |
| 3 | Wait for our response. Our team will review your request and respond within 1–3 business days with next steps, which may include a return shipping label, refund confirmation, or replacement details. |
| 4 | If a physical return is required, ship the item back to us using the return label or instructions we provide. Please pack the product securely to prevent further damage during return transit. |
| 5 | Receive your refund, replacement, or store credit once we inspect the returned product (if applicable). Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days. |
